The season of Advent can be disorienting, like marching to the beat of a different drummer. It calls us to mark time differently than counting the days till Christmas morning. We are looking for a baby to be born — while we know that in reality, this baby has already been born, and still is being born in us—Emmanuel, God with us, who came and who is coming again and who is among us now. Jeremiah 33:14-16 guides into Advent by calling us into longing for the promise of God. Estamos anelando de la promesa de Dios.
