Contemplative Walk to Connect
August 25 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
Join us in the cooler hours before our Sunday gathering for an hour of guided movement, meditative practice, and connection. We will do light introductions and walk to the South Platte River and back as a group. You will be guided into contemplative practices and occasional paired conversations with fellow Highlanders along the way. This conversational-paced walking event will be guided by Jonathon Stalls, who has been part of our community since 2011. Jonathon centers much of his creative work on walking culture, walking meditation, and what he calls, Pedestrian Dignity through his new creative project, Intrinsic Paths. He walked across the USA in 2010, founded Walk2Connect co-op in 2012, and completed his studies at the Living School for Action and Contemplation in 2017. Meeting Location will be SW corner of 32nd and Clay near grass/tennis court fences. Sign up here.
