Sometimes we think gratitude is proportionate to how much we have for which to be thankful. And we always see others who have more than we which justifies why we think they have more for which to be grateful. That it the biggest joy depriving lie in the world! A good question to ask ourselves if we’re feeling like we don’t have that much to be grateful for is this: Imagine losing anything we have failed to express gratitude for in the last month. If we lost all the things we have failed to express gratitude for, we would quickly see how rich we are in so many gifts from God that we have been taking for granted.
Gratitude is an attitude that can be strengthened like a muscle that helps us live more joyful lives despite any of our circumstances.
Text: Psalm 106:1 (NIV)

God’s love endures forever.
